Advanced Interpersonal Group Project

I have divided the class into two groups based on their interests. Note that I have no index card overviewing possible term paper interests for two class members, Kerry Ballard and Jeff Bush. I have assigned you to groups randomly, but there may still be time to swap if you want to.

The groups:

The nature of the group assignment remains non-specific except that you need to pick a subject, in cooperation with me, to research as a group with the expectation of doing a class presentation (about 30-35 minutes) on April 8 (a week after we return from spring break). The presentation will be the focus. I am not expecting a paper from the group. I am expecting notes and references.

3/6 I have tightened the focus on this somewhat. The project should focus, within the general interests outlined above, on interpersonal communication on the internet. Note that this will be primarily an issue of exemplars and, where available, recent research, rather than a issue of fundamentals. Classic texts and articles on non-verbal or relationships should still apply. The interesting issue becomes applying that to the Internet context.

Note that if the group will benefit from creating collaborative pages here, they can do so.
